The Wicked Wrista Cup is what happens when six roller hockey teams decide that a normal amount of hockey just isn’t enough. Every three months, the squads are drafted and the players show up for an Ironman-style tournament featuring four seeding games, a full playoff, tired legs, bad chirps, questionable line changes, and absolutely no sympathy.

The seeding round determines your road through the playoffs, but everybody gets a shot at the Cup. From there, it’s survive and advance. Win, and you keep playing. Lose, and you get to grab a drink and explain to everyone why the refs definitely screwed you. By the end of the day, six teams become one champion, somebody gets their name on the Wicked Wrista Cup, and everyone else gets three months to come up with excuses before we do the whole damn thing again.
